Affordable authentic Italy The Official Youth Hostel is situated right on the Crusade trail, the “Via Francigena”, from Canterbury to Rome, just 1 km from the majestic river Po, in the tranquil village of Calendasco, just 50 miles south-east of Milan. There are 16 rooms, most of which are en suite and air-conditioned. Facilities in the hostel include a library, chapel, lounge, TV/video room, fully licensed restaurant, bar, BBQ area and tea-garden. Throughout the year we host themed events, at all-inclusive prices, such as couples only Valentine’s night, Carnival, Halloween parties and so on. For details check our Events page. The function rooms available are ideal for residential corporate events or training courses. In the hostel restaurant, run by chefs Enea and Jon, you can sample local and international cuisine from both the set and à la carte menus.
